The Fulda/Murray County Central Warrior wrestling team were right back in action after having a number of matches in the previous week. They traveled to Adrian where they met up with the Tigers of Marshall/Lakeview and the Dragons of Adrian in a triangular match up.
The Warriors first faced off with the Dragons, and the match was all in Adrian’s favor. The Dragons were able to jump up 6-0 right away after Alex Fuerstenberg was able to pin Jon Gehl in the 106 pound match. Clayton Hartle was able to give the Warriors their first points, but wasn’t enough to tie the match up. Hartle was matched up with Greg Kern in the 113 pound class where Hartle was able to win by decision, 5-0. Adrian came back and was able to get three pins in a row to go up 24-3. Jordan Clarke stopped the streak of pins for the Dragons and was able to have a good match himself with Hunter Heitkamp, but in the end, Heitkamp was able to remain on top by decision, 4-1.
