December 28 SPD responded to a 911 call in the 3100 block of Maple Avenue at 7:46 that night. SPD found an adult male and an adult female who were involved in a verbal argument that had escalated to pushing. The situation was mediated, and they were separated for the night. They were advised to contact SPD if the conflict resumed. An adult male was cited at 9:29 at night for speeding in the area of 20th Street and Maple Avenue. December 29 Request to listen to some unusual telephone calls in the 3100 block of 30th Street was received at 9:30 on the morning of December 29, 2012. SPD called back the number and found the calls were originating from Home Depot. It was learned the calls were being dialed by staff with the wrong area code. Home Depot informed SPD they would be correcting the error. Report of snowmobile trespass in the 2400 block of 24th Street was received at 12:38 that afternoon. The caller indicated that three sleds had been driven close to the caller’s house steps at about 8:30 the prior evening. The caller didn’t know who was driving the sleds. Extra patrol was added to the area.
