After a busy week of wrestling, the Warriors had one more bout and they traveled to Garretson, South Dakota to take part in the Dan Pansch/Jesse James Invitational. Five Warrior wrestlers were able to place in the tournament out of the many that took part.
The first wrestler to place in the tournament was Freshman Clayton Hartle. In the 113 pound class, Hartle was first matched up with James Lueders from Dell Rapids, and that match didn’t last long. Hartle was able to advance with a pin in 1:13 where he took on Tayt Boeckholt from West Central. The match was very close between the two wrestlers. In fact, overtime was needed to determine a winner in the match, and Hartle was able to claim the victory by decision, 7-5.
