Thanks to the community at large for the successful endeavor to send care packages to military personnel. Glenna Miller is to be congratulated on a job well done for organizing the project. The tables were full of items donated by Catholic Daughter members, community members, as well as donations from Tim Bass of Monogram Meats, Iona Catholic Daughters, Lake Wilson CCW, and Todd Heronimus.
Many thanks to Judy Bloemendaal and the Girl Scouts who were instrumental in gathering items from MinnWest Bank, Shetak Dental Clinic, and Heartland Eye Clinic. Thirty CDA members with the help of Deb Hagen, Mary Gaul, Roger Halbur, John DeGreeff, Norm Cote, and Don Mondry packed 28 boxes which were sent to military personnel. Our thanks to anyone who helped in any way to help the service personnel have a little encouragement during the holidays. |
