Funeral services were held at Hadley Lutheran Church in Hadley, MN on Thursday, December 20, 2012 at 10:30 a.m. with Rev. Kerry Boese officiating.

Virginia Paige was born on February 18, 1925 in Westbrook, Minnesota to Pete and Amelia Lintner Peterson. The family later moved to a farm near Lake Wilson, Minnesota where Virginia attended school in Chandler, Minnesota. On March 25, 1944 she and Gordon Paige were married in Lake Wilson. Following their marriage they lived in Slayton, Minnesota until 1947 when they moved to a farm near Westbrook. In 1950 they moved to the Paige family farm south of Hadley, Minnesota. Gordon passed away on December 3, 1972. Virginia remained on the farm until 1990 when she moved to Hadley. Due to failing health Virginia was admitted to the Murray County Medical Center on November 7, 2012 and later moved to Our House Hospice Home in Slayton where she passed away on Monday, December 17, 2012 at the age of 87. Virginia was a member of the Hadley Lutheran Church in Hadley where she was active in several organizations. Virginia enjoyed gardening, reading, playing cards, baking, and bingo. Virginia especially enjoyed visits from family and friends. She will be remembered for her kind and gentle soul.

Survivors include her two children: Dixie Lee DeGido and her husband Ray, Minneapolis, MN, Dan Jay Paige and friend Nikki, Hadley, MN; three grandchildren: Amanda Reitan and her husband Stephen, Adam Paige and his wife Ashlee and Karen Weets; seven great-grandchildren: Mason, Emma, Abby, Benson, Mia, Lily and Lexi and special nieces and nephews as well as good friends and neighbors. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Gordon; five brothers and three sisters.  

Funeral services were held at Hadley Lutheran Church in Hadley, MN on Thursday, December 20, 2012 at 10:30 a.m. with Rev. Kerry Boese officiating. The organist was LaDean Lang with special music by Sheila Crowley. The pallbearers were Adam Paige, Steven Zinnel, Mason Burch, Brent Johnson, Rande Johnson and Gregg Halbur.  Interment is at Highland Home Cemetery, Hadley, MN. To send condolences visit totzkefuneralhome.com.
