Recipes: Candy Cane Coffee Cake; Boneless Buffalo Chicken Appetizers; Salsa and Black Bean Dip; and Marinara and Shrimp Canapes
The Christmas week always seems to go by much too quickly. We have spent time preparing for the holiday and all of a sudden it seems it is over. Some may be gathering with family yet this weekend and others are planning the new year’s celebrations. There is candy and cookies enough to last several more days or even weeks and the ham bone needs to be made into soup for a cold winter day. So much for that theory. The candy will need to be replenished and the soup was made and is almost gone. Enough for a bowlful for someone. That seems to happen when you plan to get things done ahead of time. The Chex mix is quite addicting and perhaps it should be put in another room or at least out of sight. We never tire of the Christmas goodies and perhaps it is because we save certain recipes for just the holidays.
