1932 - Clarice Pearl Lowe - 2012
Clarice was born August 11, 1932, in Lake Sarah Township, Minnesota, to Clarence and Pearl (Gordon) Widboom. On August 28, 1954, Clarice was united in marriage to Thomas Walter Lowe in Westbrook, Minnesota. The couple lived in Brookings, South Dakota, before settling in Slayton, Minnesota where they raised two children, Lori and Thomas Scott Lowe, and lived until 1977, returning again in late 2005 to 2006. After Thomas' death in 2006, Clarice moved to Omaha, Nebraska, where she lived until moving into an assisted living facility in Clarinda, Iowa, in August 2012. Clarice Lowe passed away peacefully Friday, November 2, 2012, at The Eiler House in Clarinda at the age of 80, after a brief illness. Clarice is survived by her daughter Lori (Dan) Wiebesiek, Clarinda, IA; her son Thomas Scott Lowe, Omaha, NE; her granddaughters: Lindsay Nielsen, Omaha, NE; Kaylie Nielsen, Cedar Falls, IA, and BrieAnn Nielsen, Clarinda, IA; her sisters: Gloria Anderson, Owatonna, MN and Deloris Denney, Colorado Springs, CO. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband Thomas. Private interment was at Slayton Cemetery, Slayton, Minnesota. Eickemeyer Funeral Chapel of Clarinda, Iowa, with Totzke Funeral Home in Slayton, was in charge of arrangements. Memorials are suggested to New Market (IA) United Methodist Church, Feline Friendz in Nebraska, or Westside Baptist Church of Omaha, NE. |
