| Farm Storage Facility Loans | |
|
Special low cost government loans for storage facilities are now available for producers to build or remodel farm storage facilities for a variety of commodities, some of which are wheat, soybeans, alfalfa and corn. November interest rates range from 1.125% to 2.00% depending on loan amount and term.
The 7, 10, or 12 year Farm Storage Facility Loans are available for the purchase and installation of eligible storage facilities, permanently affixed drying or handling equipment, or remodeling existing facilities. Eligible facilities include new conventional-type cribs or bins and new and remanufactured oxygen-limiting and other upright silo-type structures as well as cold storage and structures for hay and renewable biomass commodities.
