The 2012 Minnesota 4-H State Horse Show was held at the State Fairgrounds in September. Murray County 4-H members Gabrielle Holinka, Currie Poco-a-Poco 4-H Club; Tessa Hulstein, Chandler Hilltoppers 4-H Club; Brooke Johnson, Cameron 4-H Club; and Jake Post and Sarah Post, Independent members, earned trips to state at the 4-H Horse Show during the Murray County Fair. At the state show, Gabrielle Holinka placed 9th in Western Showmanship (Grade 13). Tessa Hulstein placed 8th in Western Pleasure and 3rd in Western Horsemanship (Grade 12). Brooke Johnson placed 8th in Western Showmanship, 7th in Western Pleasure, 4th in Western Horsemanship, and 9th in Hunt Seat Pleasure (Grade 10). Congratulations to all the participants! |
