The Slayton Police Department (SPD) received a request at 8:20 on the morning of October 31, 2012 for a civil stand by in the 2200 block of Norwood Avenue for a property exchange. The stand by was provided without incident.
Investigation was started at 11:49 that morning into a threatening telephone call received in the 2000 block of Juniper Avenue. Evidence was gathered. A report was filed. This case is under investigation.
An adult male was picked up in the 2600 block of Norwood Avenue at 1:21 in the afternoon on an outstanding warrant for violations of the terms of his probation. He was also charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of a small amount of marijuana.
An adult female turned over a flash drive to SPD at 5:46 that evening that was related to an investigation in the 2600 block of Norwood Avenue.
