Board of Directors return $530,000 in capital credits | |
|
The Board of Directors of Nobles Cooperative Electric (NCE), Worthington, Minnesota, authorized the payment of $529,949 in capital credits to their members. Capital credits are the difference between NCE’s operating costs and revenues. Since NCE is a non-profit cooperative, any revenues available after expenses are returned to the member-owners.
Members of NCE who received service during 1992, 1993, and 2011, found a credit on the electric bill they received on October 24. On November 9, capital credit checks will be mailed to approximately 1,600 former cooperative members, along with current members receiving more than $500 in capital credits.
