AUCTION BARN ALMOST DOWN | comes tumbling down |

A not so small piece of Slayton's history came down in splinters on Halloween morning, and the corner of Maple Avenue and Highway 30 will never been the same. Clearing way for the construction of a new grocery store, the 74 year old tower sales pavilion yielded to the arm of the heavy equipment and came toppling down in splinters.
