Highway 59

October 10, 2012

update
What's been happening

The northern portion of the project from Highway 14 to Valhalla Road is complete and open to traffic.

Crews have been preparing Highway 59 from Pete's Corner to Slayton for resurfacing. The gravel road surface has been temporarily open to farm traffic, but construction will restrict access to local traffic only. Customers looking to get to Pete's Corner can access it on Highway 30 from the east. Motorists should travel with caution and be prepared for intermittent lane closures as crews pave Highway 30.
