Recipes:Golden Squash Rolls; Apricot-Orange Glazed Carrots; and Green Onion Mashed Potatoes
Fall has really arrived along with some cooler temperatures. It seems like the leaves turned so quickly and fell even faster. Perhaps the drought has something to do with that. The tilers say it is very dry a long way down. Maybe this weekend there will be rain, we certainly could use the moisture. Our rose bushes are still blooming and last week before the expected frost I brought enough in for a bouquet. They really donít last long in the house but fresh flowers are always nice. A couple of planters I left as I know they wonít keep until next year. The squirrels hunted for the nuts they had hid earlier so those planters had to come in also.
