Nearly 100 spots on sidewalks along Slayton's Broadway Avenue will be repaired following action taken Monday night by the city council to contract with Precision Concrete Cutting, who will complete rehabilitation at a total project cost of $6,553.27. According to City Clerk Josh Malchow, the city's sidewalk budget will be used to pay for the cost of the installation. Precision Concrete will provide a 5% discount bringing the total cost of the project to $6,225.61.
