| Agriculture Society donates to the cattle barn | |

The Murray County Board of Commissioners accepted a donation of $2,053.94 from the Murray County Agriculture Society for upgrade at the cattle barn at the fairgrounds. The money was raised at the rib-cookoff during the fair. A resolution was signed to establish an absentee ballot board. Heidi Winder, La Dean Lang and Lisa Carlson were appointed. The board set a minimum bid on forfeited property. A lot in Avoca 224 2nd Street SW was set at $2,000; 4th Street and Des Moines Street in Currie - $500; and 341 Center Avenue- land and house in Lake Wilson at $5,000.
