Anyone interested in learning about the Highway 59 construction project from Highway 30 in Slayton to Highway 14 is invited to an open house Thursday, Aug. 23, at 5 p.m.
The event will be held at the Murray County Fairgrounds 4-H Building, 3048 South Broadway Ave., Slayton, Minn. Representatives from the Minnesota Department of Transportation and project contractors, Knife River Corp. and C.P.R. Contractors Inc., will provide a progress report along with plans for upcoming construction activities. They also will address questions or concerns about the project.
