If these questions pique your interest, be sure to attend the free historical presentation "Homely Girls and Pretty Babies" on at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 18 at the Murray County Fair in Slayton. Historian Anita Gaul will present a brief and entertaining history of the Murray County Fair, exploring its most interesting aspects and how it has changed through the years.
