The “Lazy A” Chuck Wagon, owned by Mike and Patty Aspelet of Stoddard, Wisconsin is on its way to Slayton.
This fun and educational experience will help tell the story of the early settlers to our area. The wagon owners have painstakingly researched and designed their wagon to meet the specifics of the 1890’s cattle drive era. They have honed and practiced their Dutch oven cooking skills and stocked their wagon with the ingredients a person would have had on the prairie.
The Aspelets will wear the clothes a chuck wagon cook may have worn in that time period and will be serving free samples throughout the day.
