Murray County Board of Commissioners met on Tues-day, November 10. The meeting was brief with ample time to discuss budget items for 2010.
Commissioner William Sauer reported on the ARMER meeting and the research being done to see if it is a reasonable project for southwest Minnesota. The study will be completed in February.
Gene Short, director of End-O-Line Park updated the board on projects at the park. Although the park is closed for the season, preparations are being made for winterizing the park and preparing for next year’s projects and events. He presented a summary of the renovation of the caboose that will now be available for special events of small groups. The work was accomplished with donations that included the large donation of $10,000 from the Carl and Verna Schmidt Foundation.
