Planning is underway by the banquet committee once again. On November 23, 2009, Murray County Central will be hosting the 2nd Annual American Education Banquet. The primary purpose of this banquet is to celebrate the quality education happening at MCC, and honor past and present students, faculty and support personnel. The timing of the event is meant to coincide with National Education Week. Throughout the course of the year our student-athletes are honored in a variety of ways. This time, the focus is purely academics. In the elementary there are monthly P.R.O. awards to honor students that exemplify different character skills throughout the year. This is the one time each year that K-12 education is celebrated.
