Military care packages available

November 11, 2009

ALL items should be placed on the table in St. Ann’s Hall before December 6. We thank you in advance for your generosity.

The Catholic Daughters Court Queen of Peace will be sending boxes to military personnel serving in Iraq and Afghanistan. Your help is needed to obtain names and addresses. If you know of someone who would like to receive a care package about Christmas time, notify Glenna Miller at 836-8050 or Marlys Knuth at 836-8758. Another way you could help would be to donate items such as:

FOOD - breakfast type foods and drinks, instant and regular coffee, Campbell’s Chunky soups, fast food hot sauce packets, individual packets of Trail Mix, Beef Jerky, Slim Jims, peanuts, pretzels, sunflower seeds, nuts, cereal bars, granola bar, energy bars, presweetened powder drinks, Lil Debbie snacks, brownies, candy, gum, homemade cookies, rice krispie bars.
