Senator Amy Klobuchar visited with a group of about 50 area residents during a cafe stop at Gramma's Kitchen on Tuesday afternoon. She began by stating that she was visiting southwestern Minnesota as part of her 2008 Main Street Tour and that she had began the weeks' activities with a meeting at the Redwood Economic Development Corporation in Redwood Falls, Minnesota.
On Tuesday morning, Sen. Klobuchar visited several other southwestern communities before arriving in Fulda. She recapped highlights from her first year in Washington, D.C., adding a bit of humor as she described the family's living quarters in an small apartment in Virginia.
