Celebrate Spring with daffodils - it’s the first flower of spring. March 5-11, 2007 is Daffodil Week in Murray County. The daffodil is the American Cancer Society’s flower of hope in the fight against cancer. Daffodils will be sold at the following locations during the week of March 5-9th: Fulda - Maynards Grocery; Chandler - Chandler Grocery; Slayton - Jim’s Market and Miss Emily’s.
